Western Environmental was engaged to undertake preliminary and detailed site investigations for a package of 10 sites located in remote aboriginal communities in north-west WA.
The works involved significant community consultation to arrange access, and substantial pre-planning to facilitate concurrent sampling during site inspections to minimise community disruption. The sites were potentially impacted from a wide range of potentially contaminating land uses, requiring a bespoke approach to each site.
