Western Environmental was engaged to provide contamination consultancy services in support of the Manchester Rd and Maroondah Hwy Level Crossing Removal Projects. The scope included soil, groundwater and rail ballast assessments across the sites, soil reuse assessment, Industrial Waste Resource Guidelines waste categorisation, asbestos and hygiene services, numerous temporary occupancy site assessments and ongoing strategic management advice.
