Western Environmental were engaged to develop and maintain a comprehensive greenhouse gas inventory across all relevant scope 1, 2 and 3 sources in accordance with Climate Active Organisation Standard and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard (and associated guidance).
Works included leveraging digital tools to implement continuous improvements and optimise data collection, calculation, analysis, and insights, developing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions on environmental matters and reporting to Executive and Elected Members on relevant matters, which resulted in the maintenance of ongoing annual Climate Active certification since 2020/21.
