Western Environmental was appointed by multiple Tier 1 Developers and Builders to provide environmental consultancy services during the development of Elizabeth Quay. Clients include ProBuild, Brookfield, Multiplex, and SKS Group. Works included detailed site assessments, preparation of management plans for construction, regulatory approvals and liaison, and environmental monitoring during construction.
The design, construction, operation and maintenance of a groundwater treatment plant was also delivered which facilitated discharge of treated effluent into the Swan River. Project highlights include the technical assessment and characterisation of materials across multiple sites to optimise spoil re-use and disposal, achieving a net saving of >$15M for clients across all projects.
