Western Environmental was engaged to undertake a baseline operational greenhouse gas assessment for the Western Suburbs Regional Organisation of Councils (WESROC), comprising seven local government authorities in the Perth metropolitan region. The assessment resulted in an improved understanding of the greenhouse gas emissions attributable to metropolitan local government operations and provided a basis for improved decision-making to reduce those emissions.
