Western Environmental was engaged to provide bushfire planning advice to assist with the transition and allocation of the Lucky Bay Land Parcel to the Bundi Yamatji Aboriginal Corporation. Project work included advice outlining management measures required to improve bushfire safety for the ongoing and future operation of the camping grounds within the Lucky Bay Land Parcel.
In addition, consideration was given to future expansion of camping activities within the Land Parcel and strategies were developed to allow for this expansion whilst maintaining compliance with State Planning Policy 3.7 Planning in Bushfire Prone Areas and the Guidelines for Planning in Bushfire Prone Areas.
