Western Environmental were engaged to provide services on the widening and upgrade of an approximately 5 km section of the M80 Ring Road through industrial and residential areas in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
To facilitate the upgrade, significant volumes of impacted fill soils required disturbance and management. Consultancy services included a preliminary and detailed site assessment, site-wide waste categorisation of soils for off-site disposal, numerous due diligence site assessments, ongoing management advice for contaminated soils and strategic advice in relation to the investigation and management of PFAS within site media.
