Rosehill Waters Development

Western Environmental was engaged to provide land contamination and acid sulfate soil assessment and management services for a large-scale land development project in Perth’s eastern corridor. Works included preliminary and detailed site investigations, remediation and close-out, requiring approval by a DWER-accredited Auditor under Section 31 of the Contaminated Sites Act 2003.

Additionally, complex hydrogeological conditions (including perched aquifers and variable groundwater flow) required assessment and management in conjunction with acid sulfate soils. All works were completed to the satisfaction of the environmental regulator, with the development subsequently achieving EnviroDevelopment Certification.
