Western Environmental undertook a technical review of existing site environmental reports and identified inaccuracies in the assessment and proposed management of acid sulfate soils on the site. Western Environmental was commissioned thereafter to undertake further site assessment, prepare an acid sulfate soils and dewatering management plan and to provide strategic management advice. On the basis of Western Environmental advice, the client made significant cost savings a while achieving environmentally beneficial outcomes.
